The organization also delivers some region-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for health organizations.With over 12,000 interdisciplinary employees delivering clinical, preventive, and administrative shared services in partnership with over 250 local, regional, and provincial health service delivery organizations in urban, rural, and remote locations across the area, our client provides patients with the best health care and health outcomes possible. This is achieved by partnering with health organizations, educational institutions, and clinical experts to plan and deliver evidence-based, innovative, and sustainable models of care that are accessible, consistent, and serve the needs of all patients as close to home as possible.The Provincial Health System Transformation project is the largest change to the provincial healthcare system in a generation. This initiative aims to improve patient care and support strategic healthcare system alignment by leading the coordinated planning and integration of patient-centred clinical and preventive health services. Additionally, the project focuses on delivering centralized business functions to support the delivery of care across provincial health organizations. The transformation requires proven, province-wide leadership with broad jurisdictional experience across multiple areas of clinical delivery and business functions. This is to build an integrated leadership team and effective pan-system relationships that drive strategic and sustainable outcomes, enable the work of partner service delivery organizations, and provide centralized business functions and provincial health services. Our client operates a jurisdictional tertiary hospital and provides a broad range of health delivery services spanning all areas of care, including primary, acute, and continuous across urban, rural, and remote areas.Education and Certifications: * Project Management Certification: Proof of certification is required with the application.

  • PROSCI Change Management Certification: Proof of the certification is required with the application.
  • ScrumMaster Certification: Proof of the certification is required with the application.
  • DCAM Framework (Data Management Capability Assessment) Certification: Proof of the certification is required with the application.

Skills and Experience:Project Management in Complex Sectors:

  • Requirement: 10 years of experience as a Project Manager leading large, complex projects, including budget creation and cost tracking, assignment of resources, and managing interdependencies in delivering a combination of technology, business, and process change in a complex sector such as healthcare, financial services, or other public sectors.
  • Details: Provide at least 2 examples, including the duration of the projects, totaling at least 10 years.

Organizational Change Management:

  • Requirement: 5 years of experience managing projects that incorporated organizational change management strategies and plans, using a structured methodology such as Prosci.
  • Details: Provide at least 2 examples, including the duration of the projects, totaling at least 5 years, specifying the methodology applied.

Transformational Projects and Organizational Redesign:

  • Requirement: 5 years of experience implementing large transformational projects, including organizational redesign.
  • Details: Provide at least 2 examples, including the duration of the projects, totaling at least 5 years. Specify the organizational or service redesign component.

Healthcare Project Management:

  • Requirement: 3 years of experience as a Project Manager working on projects in a healthcare environment.
  • Details: Provide at least 1 example, including the duration of the project, totaling at least 3 years.

Training of Application Systems:

  • Requirement: 3 years of experience as a Project Manager working on projects involving the training of application systems for front-line users.
  • Details: Provide at least 1 example, including the duration of the project, totaling at least 3 years.

Healthcare-Related Business Transformation:

  • Requirement: 5 years of experience providing program or project leadership of large healthcare-related business transformation activities, including planning and program/project management, working with executive leaders, oversight of project managers/team leaders, organizational change management, risk management, and reporting to executive sponsors.
  • Details: Provide at least 2 examples, including the duration of the projects, totaling at least 5 years.

Electronic Health Record Implementation:

  • Requirement: 3 years of experience as a Project Manager implementing an electronic health record.
  • Details: Provide at least 1 example, including the duration of the project, totaling at least 3 years.
